The April Meeting of the Dry Ridge Garden Club
The March monthly meeting will be THURSDAY, April 25th, at 7 PM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church located at 501 Fairfield Drive in Westpoint.

Raffle tickets for the Mayfest Plant Sale on May 4th will be available to the members who did not receive them at the March meeting.  We always ask that every member sale at least $10 tickets.

At least one representative of each Mayfest sub-committee should plan to attend the meeting.
Sale flyers will be  also be available at this meeting. We need to spread the word about our sale and how wonderful it is!

The hostesses for the evening will be Club Members Pam, Coleen and Robin.
Hope to see you at the meeting at the April 25th meeting!

COME GROW WITH US! BEGINNERS WELCOME!!

Dry Ridge Garden Club has been gardening together since 1961. We are a “down-to-earth” club that is small and friendly. We are non-profit, and do one major fundraiser each year. That event is our annual plant sale held on the first Saturday in May. Most of our plants are donated by our members themselves. Other perennials and annual plants are purchased from a local grower. If you don’t have a green thumb, bring baked goods for our bake sale that day! All of our proceeds benefit local charities, such as the Westmoreland County Food Bank, Salvation Army, Christian Laymen, the Blackburn Center, Stockings For Soldiers,  a local volunteer fire department,  local veterans, and the American Cancer Society.

We like to share our knowledge at our monthly meetings as well as get more information, by having speakers from garden related businesses. Often we welcome a Master Gardener to speak about their experiences, or a particular subject.

Our members are from all walks of life and ages range from mid thirties to over 90. We are friends and we are fun! We meet six times a year on the fourth Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm. November’s meeting is the third Thursday. We also hold a Christmas dinner and a June dinner, without a meeting, and just for the fun of it!
